The Story Behind the Logo

Greetings, 

My name is Jonathan Cohen, and I would like to tell you how I came up with the logo for Maryland Physician Advisors, LLC.  My wife's last name is Wolff, and our children have hyphenated last names. We call them the Woco kids, partially because it's shorter, and also because Woco sounds like Loco...which they are. 

There was a wild animal roaming our neighborhood, and people were trying to guess what it was. Some thought it was a coyote, while others thought it might be a wolf. This is when I learned that there was an animal called a coywolf, which is what you get when you cross a coyote, and a wolf. My children are a cross between a Cohen and a Wolff, and like the coywolf, they are animals. 

I was recently renewing my hospital privileges, a hospital where I have been on staff for over 5 years, and I asked the Medical Staff Office if my ABQAURP board certification would suffice because I am a Physician Advisor. Their reply was to ask me what a Physician Advisor was. Apparently, like the Coywolf, many people do not know what a Physician Advisor is. Hence our symbol, the Coywolf.
